The Energy Starts With You, The Couple.
Every wedding has quiet moments.
People drift towards the bar for more drinks.
They wander outside to catch their breath.
They need to check on the babysitter.
The pizza van has started dishing out stonebaked sourdough pizzas.
Before you know it, the dancefloor that was full twenty minutes ago has thinned out.
That's completely normal.
A good wedding party isn't measured by whether the dancefloor stays full from the first song until the last. It breathes. People dance, rest, chat, grab a drink or some food and then come back again.
The mistake is assuming it's entirely the DJ's job to bring everyone back.
DJs can set the right atmosphere and pick songs that invite people to come and dance.
But if there's one thing more powerful than the right song, it's a bride and groom who are visibly enjoying their own party.
You are the reason everyone is there.
And when you head back onto the dancefloor, you're not rescuing the party.
You're reminding everyone what they've come to celebrate.
