When we started looking for a DJ for our wedding we really weren’t at all sure that we would actually find what we were looking for, a genuinely talented DJ who could mix and mash-up their way through all the classic crowd pleasers as well as some alternative dance music all to the kind of standard that we wanted. We listened to TONS of other wedding DJ mixes and they all felt so flat and predictable. When we heard Sebastian’s mixtapes and saw that he had performed at some of our favourite venues and festivals we just couldn’t believe our luck and after a Zoom call we didn’t hesitate to book him for our reception.

On the day he smashed out a really fun little warm-up set after the wedding breakfast that got everyone buzzing for what was to come and in the evening he played the most fantastic mix of both things you always hear at weddings and things you never hear at weddings, and it all just worked SO SO WELL. No one left the dance floor all night and the atmosphere was insane. He mixes with such confidence, he just owns the room.

Sebastian is definitely NOT what most people would call a ‘wedding DJ’. He is simply an incredibly talented and hugely knowledgeable 'real' DJ who smashes weddings because he can (and clearly loves doing it). I’ve been to many reception parties and seen some really good DJs before but Sebastian is in a whole other league.

We are so grateful that someone like him is out there doing weddings and that he was available to do ours, he was responsible for so much of how well the night went down and made us so proud of the party we were able to throw for our friends and family. It just wouldn’t have been the same without him.

Wow - What a night! Not just any 'Wedding DJ'

Beyond amazing! We couldn't have been more impressed with Sebastian for his services. Where to begin....! Groom is a sound engineer by trade and so straight away, a picky person! As a couple, we have travelled to various festivals, raves, concerts and gigs over the years and so we had a very wide (and conflicting) music taste. After too many bad wedding DJs, we were so relieved to find someone to take time and get a vibe of what we wanted rather than just 'rinse and repeat' the same old (safe) playlist. As music was really important for us, we booked for the whole day, as we wanted proper organisation of the music from start to finish. We probably spoke to Sebastian the most out of our suppliers, he took time to get to know our tastes and plan for the day and even was happy to accommodate a last-minute curve ball from the venue in what systems were available to him. His equipment was groom approved and sounded great, set up looked great and we have had so many comments about how fun the evening was, how good the music was and what tunes he was mixing and playing. He is a smashing guy too and no ego attached. Could go on for ages really - but book Offbeat with confidence for sure and enjoy your wedding evening!

GENUINELY OUTSTANDING, A TRUE 5 STAR EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH!

We couldn’t be happier that we found Offbeat Entertainment for our son Louis 18th Birthday Party. Louis truly loves his music so finding the right DJ who could meet his needs of wanting Garage, Bassline and Hip-Hop music for this special occasion was top of the list of things to get right and boy did we struck gold! Seb was brilliant from start to finish listening to our needs then speaking direct with Louis to fine tune a play list that would meet his requirements. As well as his own likes he still wanted some mainstream tunes included to ensure on the night everyone was happy, after all trying to appease a young crowd, and to fill a dance floor for 5 hours was a daunting task but Seb did exactly that.

Our son and his friends are literally still raving about what an incredible party it was, and so much of that was down to the DJing. He read the crowd perfectly, blending pop anthems with underground bangers to create an incredible atmosphere right to the very end!

Awesome speakers, sleek modern lights, and a much welcomed attention to detail in the build-up with excellent suggestions ahead of time. A super professional service from start to finish.

We were so impressed that we’ll be definitely be back to book him again next year for our younger son’s 18th too!

Sebastian was a fantastic DJ for our wedding day, but his experience and expertise extended far greater than just the day itself. From our first meeting right up to the last moment of the day itself, he was extremely professional and knowledgeable.

We always found him quick to reply to emails, even when the wedding was still over 6 months away. We really felt that his experience in the field was invaluable, and he was able to tell us what ideas he felt would or wouldn't land with our guests. Our main aim was to have fun, and keep the dance floor full all evening, which was more than successful. Sebastian's DJ style is so perfect for keeping people dancing, he adapts to the room, and keeps the tempo up by mixing great tunes at a fast pace.

Half our guests had blisters the next morning from too many hours dancing! Sebastian even created our own edit for our first dance (which was a hit!) for us.

We booked Sebastian for the whole day, and loved having music for guests arrival and cocktail hour, which really added a different edge to our day, and was tailored to both of our (very broad) tastes in music.

When we read through our guest book after the wedding we even had our guests write 'Love the DJ!' which speaks for itself.

This guy!! Unreal. DJ'd at a friend's wedding Saturday just gone, and we were all so impressed. He bought the energy, the tunes, and the smiles! Great playlist, so many bangers. And the most impressive bit was that he played from lunch all the way through to about midnight - still with a smile 😁 thanks for making a great celebration even better pal 🤩

WARNING! This is not a stereotypical wedding DJ! If you want a fast paced banging party, this is the guy! 3 days after our wedding my legs are aching from bouncing around to none stop banger after banger. We set a big challenge for Seb - 5 different sets of music throughout the day and he nailed it. His knowledge of tunes is epic!

Set 1 - Festival warm up

Set 2 - Funky house/jazz/hip-hop mix through dinner

Set 3 - Cafe Mambo style sunset mix

Set 4 - UK Garage mix

Set 5 - Headline set taking us through the ages of disco to dance (perfect for a wedding as everyone could get involved).

The dance floor proved how good he was as it was packed none stop and people struggled to leave in fear of missing out! The feedback from our guests was awesome! I genuinely can't thank Seb enough for his support throughout the day and continuing to play when another artist was stuck in traffic and one of the bands wasn't ready to play.

I seriously hope to be on a dance floor again when Seb is playing! I could not recommend this guy more!

JAKE & KELLY - ANRAN 

Wow, where to start?? Firstly 5 stars is not enough to do justice to just how amazing Seb was both on our big day and also in the run up to it. We met to discuss music tastes and from that moment Seb was very proactive and pretty much arranged himself to be where we needed when we needed. It was quite literally effortless!! 

On the day itself Seb was there during the day as well as the evening and his choice of background music through our meal and drinks reception was absolutely perfect. We would never have been able to suggest the music genres he played but he saw the venue and the guests and just absolutely nailed it. Again, effortless.

We were torn for our first dance between two very different tracks (a Jamie Lawson song and a drum and bass remix of Hello by Adele). We spoke to Seb and he said he could easily mix one to the other and on the night it was perfect. As soon as our dance finished the dance floor was full for the next 3 hours.

All of our guests were raving about our wedding DJ the following day and we can't thank Seb enough for the service he provided.
Perfect doesn't come close. Epic is almost there but still doesn't do it justice!!!
If anyone wants the perfect wedding DJ then please look no further and just book Seb immediately. I absolutely guarantee you will not regret it.

Guys a legend, played my mates wedding a few weeks ago. Sick set, played the big bangers for everyone at the start and as people started to peek off things to a turn for the dangerous. I couldn’t stop dancing as the night progressed with some choice tunes I never expected but got me screwfacing. He obviously got the memo on the crowd. Highly recommended, I might even propose so I can take my own recommendation and sweat my suit off again 😅

After reading Sebastian's website we could tell he was passionate about what he does, something which was so important for us as music lovers! From the moment we got in touch with him, we knew he was the right DJ for us. Sebastian's communication via email and text was very efficient. We also had some zoom calls so that he could really get to know us a couple. We enjoyed filling out the form for Sebastian which showed him the music we did and didn't like. It made us feel like we were getting a really personal service.
 
Sebastian went above and beyond making sure everything was set up perfectly, ready for the day. This made us feel so much more relaxed.
On the day, he played music for our day and evening reception and the dance floor was never empty! So many of our guests commented on what an amazing DJ he was and how they couldn't stop dancing. We also had my sisters band playing a couple of sets during the evening and Sebastian was more than accommodating with them. He worked together with them to make sure they had the space they needed, they arranged the best times to play, he got all our guests warmed up ready for the band and even let the band borrow some of his tech equipment which I know they really appreciated.
 
Sebastian is an absolute top bloke and he made our wedding day the epic party we wanted it to be. His passion towards what he does is refreshing and it's great to see how much he loves creating a great atmosphere. We really can't thank Sebastian enough for all his hard work. It was everything we wanted for our wedding day!

I have to be honest I wasn’t a fan of dj’s at weddings- I always thought a band was the way to go! Then I saw Sebastian at a friends wedding last year and he blew us away and so we decided to take a chance and booked him! Best decision we ever made! Customer service was impeccable from start to end, often going above and beyond. On hearing that we wanted to do a medley for our first dance, Weeks before the wedding he created a mix for our first dance without being asked so that we could practice the timings, incredibly helpful- it went amazing on the night! Sebastian put on a great show, incredible set, great music and such charisma- personality really came thru while dancing and mixing- would highly recommend! You would not be disappointed!

"WOW! - What can I say? Me and Ane were sooo nervous about choosing the right DJ for our night, and hearing what so many other mobile DJs had to say when pitching their business to us did very little to allay those fears… 

Then we found Offbeat! A 40 minute chat on Zoom to Sebastian and we just knew that we had found our man. Clearly utterly passionate and hugely knowledgable about DJing and music, we only had to give him a starting idea for what we wanted and before long we were genuinely excited to have him on board. Everything in the run-up was great, emails and phone calls answered promptly and with great advice from his years of experience. The answer to all our requests and demands was always a resounding “Yes!”.

Needless to say on the night he didn’t disappoint, in fact he totally blew us all away. For the pre-meal tunes on our arrival to go with the champagne and cocktails we served, he hit the nail on the head with a blend of Reggae and Swing, a really uplifting mix that set the tone perfectly. For the cake cutting ceremony he blended all the tunes we gave him to perform a mini-mix and then he seamlessly moved into the first dance, where everyone piled on to the dance floor, and it’s not an exaggeration to say that that is where they stayed for the rest of the night (3am!). Me and my friends were particularly into Drum and Bass at university and when the time was right he launched into this with tremendous skill and enthusiasm. His moves and energy were infectious! My wife is Costa Rican and had a lot of family over and he managed to squeeze in many Dancehall and Latino tracks that had both contingents dancing away together in perfect harmony.

​His progression of the night through the genres was perfectly paced and he made sure that no-one was left out. His lighting set-up and fantastic sound system gave us just the atmosphere we were looking for and we are so happy that we found him. He turned the night into a proper party (as opposed to just a ‘wedding disco’) that we’ll never forget.

If you get the chance, just book him, you won’t regret it."

Sebastian, you absolute SUPERSTAR! Despite all your rave reviews and big reputation we were still anxious that we wouldn't get the party we really wanted (experience taught us that wedding discos don't always end with a bang) but as soon as you came on those doubts evaporated and we knew that we could just enjoy the evening. The music selection was perfect and your mixing kept everyone on the dancefloor the whole night. Our memories of everyone lifting us both up at the end of the night, with all our friends singing their hearts out and celebrating to the very end are priceless and will stay with us forever.
